This notice explains how Bike for Peace processes the personal data you give us at 2045.bikeforpeace.no. The site uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools.

Data controller

Bike for Peace (Norwegian org. no. 915 731 945) is responsible for the processing. Contact us at erik@bikeforpeace.no.

What we collect

We collect only what you enter into the forms on the site:

  • Signing the 2045 Appeal: name, email, country (optional) and an optional greeting.
  • Newsletter: email address.
  • Donation: name, email, amount and an optional message.
  • Getting more involved: name, email, role and a short description.
  • A campaign ID in the link (?d=) that can connect your submission to the letter you received from us.

Purpose and legal basis

  • Signature: to gather and deliver the 2045 Appeal to the UN Secretary-General. Basis: consent.
  • Newsletter: to send you updates from the journey. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Donation: to process and acknowledge your gift. Basis: performance of our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in running the campaign.
  • Getting involved: to coordinate participation. Basis: consent.

About the signatures

The names signing the 2045 Appeal are carried by the delegation and delivered to the UN Secretary-General in New York as part of the appeal. Email addresses and greetings are not delivered.

Storage and processors

The data is stored in a database at Neon (servers in the EU) and email is sent via one.com; the website is hosted at Vercel. The data is available to the delegation (Tore Nærland, Erik Berge and Josy Kang). We do not sell your data and do not share it beyond what is described here.

How long we keep it

We keep the data until the anniversary campaign has ended, or until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and to withdraw a consent. Contact us at erik@bikeforpeace.no. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. There is therefore no cookie consent to decide on.
