Russia, lecture tour
Two weeks of lectures and conversations in Russia, continuing the dialogue work we have carried on since 1983.
Bike for Peace cycled from Moscow to Washington in 1983, in the middle of the Cold War. We have kept in touch with Russian friends of peace ever since, and in 2026 we visited Moscow, St Petersburg and Murmansk.
We hold that Russia is a party peace must be made with, not without. Talking is not the same as agreeing, and this is a lecture tour, not an endorsement of any government.
